Somnath Chatterjee, the Speaker of the 14th Lok Sabha was born on July 25, 1929 in Tezpur, Assam. He was a member of CPI-M till his expulsion for defying the party’s whip during the recent trust vote.
The way we all say him handling the Lok Sabha, despite his party’s hard standpoint, we all salute him.

All apologies. You are not a commie any more. What are you then? You don't belong to this camp or belong to the other. Your own have disowned you. You are a persona non grata now. It's time to resign and retire.
